Beginners often play 40–50% of hands. Tight-aggressive players who play only 15–25% of hands from appropriate positions consistently outperform them. Patience is a genuine weapon in poker.
The button (dealer) is the most powerful seat at the table because you act last post-flop. Hands that are marginal from early position can be profitable from the button. Always factor your position into every decision.
